Before you download and run the installer, you need to ensure that your Microsoft Word Security Settings will allow you to enable the macros in the Teacher's Pet.

Word 2003 and earlier versions
If you are running Word 2003 or earlier, you need to ensure that your Security Settings are set to 'Medium'. Click here for brief instructions (opens in a new window)

Word 2007
The default setting of Word 2007 is to disable the macros in a document and display a notification in a message bar above the document. When the Teacher's Pet opens, make sure you click on the Options button in the message bar to enable the macros.
